We offer live aged, vermicast soil intended for use with organic growing practices. Our soil comes from Havill Farm in Tyringham, MA. Havill Farm is widely known in their area for their high mountain, nutrient-rich organic soil that dates back over 100 years. After utilizing this soil for many years, we and close friend cultivators found its yield to be consistently more substantial than any other soil we’ve tested in the gardening of an assortment of vegetables and herbs. Experiencing the value of this soil, we were awarded the opportunity to offer the public this rare find through GnomeGrown Gardens and Soil.
Living here in Massachusetts, I witnessed firsthand the legalization of cannabis grown at home, outdoors.
Through community communication, I began to understand the full spectrum of needs exclusive to this area in the growing, harvesting, and curing of outdoor herb on a personal level. With all the elemental influences that can alter the desired outcome of a harvest, some of the most beneficial support comes from others with successful growing experience in the same or similar geographical locations. I found no local structured system to support these needs. Feeling there should be local support and education as this plant is being more widely recognized and homegrown for its beneficial health qualities, us Gnomes grew one from the idea seed up. 🌱
We offer support and education for limited, inclusive, private, safe, and secure home cultivation and harvest experiences. We structured our system in a way that offers full-spectrum options through the levels of personal support and education home growers receive in their home garden.We at GnomeGrown Gardens and Soil feel strongly about offering our crew a living wage as a direct way of putting into action our belief in a world where we all belong. Aiming to inspire our employees and giving tangible value in who they are and what they do for our community. And hopefully, through giving this living wage, we show other companies, through living example, an opportunity to create a win-win-win (client – employee – company) for all.
